KANZI® apple pops

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 KANZI® apples

  • Melted chocolate

  • Shredded coconut

  • Cacao nibs

  • Caramel sauce

A great one to get the kids involved in the kitchen, these scrumptious treats are super easy and super fun to make! The perfect activity for weekends, school holidays or birthday parties, you can let the little ones can get as creative as they like with the toppings. They’re a healthier spin on the classic toffee apple, and a fun way to squeeze some extra goodness into your day.

INSTRUCTIONS

Method

1 - Slice up your KANZI® apples and thread the pieces onto skewers to make the base of your apple pop. TIP – slice the KANZI® horizontally for a centre star pattern or slice vertically for a cute apple shape.
2 - Lay the KANZI® apple pops out on a tray or some baking paper, and drizzle with caramel sauce. You can also use chocolate sauce or melted chocolate for the drizzle.
3 - Sprinkle with shredded coconut and cacao nibs.
4 - You can enjoy straight away or let them set in the fridge until the drizzle has hardened.

TIP: The dense flesh of a KANZI® apple naturally stays white for longer, making them the perfect apple to slice up for these fun treats, as they’ll last longer than other varieties of apple.
