Airfryer Spiced Vanilla Butter KANZI® Apple

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium KANZI® apples, skin on, cored, and cut into approximately 6 wedges each

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil*

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon, divided

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Serves 2

1. Toss apples in oil, vanilla and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon to evenly coat.

2. Add apples to the air fryer basket, arranging evenly without overlapping to ensure even cooking. Air fryfor 5 minutes, shake apples in basket to move them around, then air fry for a further 5 minutes, or untilsoft and tender.

3. When apples are cooked, transfer to a bowl and toss with butter, maple syrup and remaining ½teaspoon of cinnamon. Serve immediately topped with granola and yoghurt for breakfast, or ice cream for a simple dessert!

Notes

*Refined coconut oil (no flavour) or canola oil may also be used
