THE KANZI POWER HACKS – THE POWER OF DAYLIGHT

Winter. The cold season.

On the one hand, it’s great because you can really make yourself comfortable at home. But winter is also the dark season, a time when some of us feel a little under the weather, tired and even low on energy. But why is this? We aren’t plants (like apple trees, for example) – we don’t need light to grow. Or do we?

Interestingly, we aren’t that different from an apple tree in this regard: the daylight that reaches our skin stimulates our cells to produce vitamin D. This vitamin is a key factor in our energy and hormone balance. Too little of it and several of our body’s processes run poorly, leading to a weak immune system and low energy levels. In short, not much vitamin D means not much energy. In winter, our bodies must cope with fewer hours of daylight, on top of which, when it’s cold, we cover almost every free centimeter of our skin with clothing. All of this adds up to a bad situation when it comes to our vitamin D production.

Fortunately, there are a few simple ways to help our bodies with regards to vitamin D, even in the dark season. We have put together the most important tips for you here. For more vitamin D and for more power in your life.
