Power Smoothie made from beetroot & KANZI® apple

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 KANZI® apples

  • 250 g of cooked beetroot

  • 1 cucumber

  • ½ lemon

  • 5 cm of fresh ginger

  • 10 g of fresh mint sprigs

  • 300 ml of apple juice (organic)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut the KANZI® apples into wedges and remove the core. Cut the beetroot into wedges too.
  2. Cut the cucumber into 5 pieces. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  3. Peel the ginger and cut into small pieces. Pluck the leaves from the sprigs of mint and set 4 nice leaves aside.
  4. Puree the apple pieces with the cucumber, beetroot, ginger, mint, lemon and apple juice in a blender.
  5. Divide the smoothie across 4 large glasses and serve with the leaves of mint you set aside.

Tip: Add a little water for a somewhat thinner smoothie.
