THE KANZI POWER HACKS – THE POWER OF MOVEMENT

Faster. Higher. Stronger. Our world has become obsessed by a thirst for going all in. Doing everything to the extreme. And that’s certainly true of the latest fitness influencers, with their hardcore training programs. 

But the funny thing is that, quite often, just a little bit really can go a long way. And that’s certainly true about exercise and movement. A little bit consistently and frequently, certainly beats a whole lot infrequently and inconsistently. And the great thing about short sessions is that we can no longer use our favorite excuses, such as “I have no time for this” or “I’m too tired for this”. 

And there are many different types of movement that you can incorporate into your days from early morning stretching, to bodyweight exercises, to simply taking a brisk walk. The secret is to plan these short sessions into your week, so they become part of your routine, and eventually turn into a habit. Next thing you know, you’re moving regularly and consistently. And you’ll be amazed by what that will do for your energy levels.  

YOUR MOVEMENT ENERGY HACKS FOR THIS SPRING

  • Pick different types of movement that you will do at least three to four days per week.

  • Pick things that you can do in 10m such as stretching, a body weight exercise, or a walk.

  • Anchor these sessions to another routine activity that you consistently do.

  • Example 1: Ten pushups every Monday when you brush your teeth.

  • Example 2: Stretching every Wednesday after your coffee but before your breakfast.

  • Example 3: A ten-minute walk during your Tuesday and Thursday lunch breaks.

  • The golden rule is that you can never do less than you planned on that exact day, but you are allowed to do more.

  • Over time you will notice that you will consistently end up doing more than you planned and keep building your physical wellbeing and energy levels.
