Mackerel salad with KANZI® apple

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g smoked mackerel fillets

  • 1 small shallot

  • 10 g chives

  • 100 g mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp capers

  • 1 KANZI® apple

  • 5 pita breads

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Skin the mackerel fillets, break the fish into pieces and remove any bones.
  2. Finely chop the shallot and the chives. Mix the mackerel with the mayonnaise, half of the chives, the shallot and the capers.
  3. Chop the KANZI® apple into very fine slices.
  4. Toast the pita breads in a toaster and chop into 4 pieces. Top the pita wedges with the mackerel salad and garnish with a few slices of apples, which you lay like a fan on top of the salad. Sprinkle with the remaining chives and serve on a tray.
